Watch this very inspiring performance of The Collingsworth Family of the classic hymn “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You.” It’s an accapella rendition and the blending of their voices are really great! They performed live at the Gaither Homecoming Concert.
Since their first engagement together as musicians for a church camp in Petersburg, Michigan in August, 1986 until now, the ministry God has given Phil & Kim Collingsworth has expanded and flourished until it is a full-time livelihood that involves their entire family. In 2000, after performing and holding positions at numerous Christian institutions around the country, the couple made the transition to a full-time concert ministry, and began recording professionally with Nashville producer Wayne Haun and making regular appearances at Gaithers Homecoming Concerts. As their ministry grew, so did their family, and by the end of the decade, they were joined by daughters Brooklyn and Courtney (violin, vocals), Olivia (vocals), and son Philip (vocals), releasing a string of successful praise & worship albums including God Is Faithful (2006), We Still Believe (2007), and Answer (2009).
Lyrics
May the good Lord bless and keep you whether near or far away
May you find that long awaited golden day today
May your troubles all be small ones and your fortunes ten times ten
May the good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again
May you walk with sunlight shining and a bluebird in every tree
May there be a silver lining back on every cloud you see
Fill your dreams with sweet tomorrows never mind what might have been
May the good Lord bless and keep you till we meet again
(May you walk with sunlight shining) and a bluebird in every tree…

Enjoy this beautiful song of Gaither Vocal Band entitled “The Glorious Impossible” featuring Guy Penrod, Marshall Hall, Wes Hampton, and Bill Gaither. The lyrics of this song is simply magnificent. It speaks about the miracles of Jesus as we read in the Bible. Be blessed.
“The Gaither Vocal Band is an American southern gospel vocal group, named after its founder and leader Bill Gaither. Founded in the early ’80s, Gaither Vocal Band is one of America’s leading faith-based vocal groups. While Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. On March 1, 2017, it was announced that the Gaither Vocal Band lineup consisted of Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, and Bill Gaither. Although the group started out recording contemporary Christian music in the 1980s, it became known for southern gospel after the popularity of the Gaither Homecoming videos.” (Source: Wikipedia)
Song by Gaither Vocal Band
See the Virgin is delivered
In a cold and crowded stall
Mirror of the Father’s glory
Lies beside her in the straw
He is Mercy’s incarnation
Marvel at this miracle!
For the Virgin gently holds
The Glorious Impossible
Love has come to walk on water
Turn the water into wine
Touch the leper, bless the children
Love both human and divine
Praise the wisdom of the Father
Who has spoken through His Son
Speaking still, He calls us to
The Glorious Impossible
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Glorious Impossible
He was bruised for our transgressions
And He bears eternal scars
He was raised for our salvation
And His righteousness is ours
Praise, oh praise Him, praise the glory
Of this lavish grace so full
Lift your souls now and receive the
Glorious Impossible!
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Glorious Impossible
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Glorious Impossible
Glorious Impossible
Praise, oh praise Him, praise the glory
Of this lavish grace so full
Lift your souls now and receive
The Glorious Impossible
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah
Glory, Hallelujah

There’s only one thing that I long for
When I reach my home on high
To see my Jesus in His glory
And to reign with Him on high
I’ll be so glad to see my mother
Who has gone, gone on to that land
Oh, but I long to see my Jesus
And by His side to stand
Without a father, without a mother
I’ve had to make this journey by myself
Sometimes so friendless, heartaches seem endless
So many sorrows I have known
But I know my Lord will call me
To that mansion in the sky
And I shall reign with Him forever
In that sweet home by and by, ny and by
So many times my heavy burden
Have borne, borne me to my knees
But then I prayed, “Oh, blessed Jesus
Won’t You help me if You please”
And He would hasten to my rescue
I no longer have to cry
And so I’ll keep my Savior with me
On my journey, journey to the sky
Well, well, well
Without a father, without a mother
I’ve had to make this journey by myself
Sometimes so friendless, heartaches seem endless
On my journey, journey to the sky, to the sky

Song by David Phelps
Goin’ home, goin’ home, I’m a goin’ home
Quiet like, some still day, I’m just goin’ home
It’s not far, just close by, through an open door
Work all done, care laid by
Going to fear no more
Mother’s there, expecting me
Father’s waiting too
Lots of folks gathered there
All the friends I knew
Nothin’s lost, all is gain
No more fret or pain
No more stumblin’ on the way
No more longin’ for the day
Goin’ to roam no more
Morning star lights the way
Restless dream all done
Shadows gone, break of day
Real life just begun
There’s no break, There’s no end
I’ll be living on.
Wide awake with a smile, going on and on
Goin’ home, goin’ home, I’m a goin’ home
It’s not far, just close by, through an open door
I’ll be goin’ home, I’ll be goin’ home
I’m goin’ home, I’m goin’ home
Lord I’m goin’ home

Be blessed by this beautiful song of hope! “Midnight Cry” gives us a picture of events that will happen when our Lord Jesus Christ will return. Ivan Parker’s voice is simply amazing and surely, he can really communicate a message in a song powerfully.
A North Carolina-born preacher’s kid, Ivan Parker is among the best-loved artists in gospel music. He traveled with the award-winning Gold City quartet, for more than a decade, before embarking on a solo career in 1994. During his years with Gold City, the group gained national notoriety, achieved 19 Top Ten hits, including a 1993 Dove Award for Southern Gospel Song of the Year by the Gospel Music Association.
Today, Ivan is an award-winning solo performer who was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 1993 and has received more than 20 awards from a variety of leading fan and trade publications. His contagious warmth, coupled with his genuine love for gospel music, gives Ivan a unique connection with the songs he communicates to countless thousands every year. He is a favorite on the Homecoming stage and as a solo artist. In 2008, the Gaither Gospel Series released The Best Of Ivan Parker on DVD and CD, which peaked on Billboard Magazine’s Music Video Chart at #2. Most recently, Ivan was nominated for a 2009 Visionary Award by the Christian Music Hall of Fame for Southern Gospel Male Vocalist of the Year. VERSE 1:
I HEAR THE SOUND
OF A MIGHTY RUSHING WIND
AND IT’S CLOSER NOW
THAN IT’S EVER BEEN
I CAN ALMOST HEAR THE TRUMPET
AND GRABRIEL SOUND THE CHORD
AT THE MIDNIGHT CRY WE’LL BE GOING HOME.
CHORUS:
WHEN JESUS STEPS OUT
ON A CLOUD TO CALL HIS CHILDREN
THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE
TO MEET HIM IN THE AIR
AND THEN THOSE THAT REMAIN
SHALL BE QUICKLY CHANGED
AT THE MIDNIGHT CRY
WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN.
VERSE 2:
I LOOK AROUND ME
I SEE PROPHECIES FULL FILLING
AND SIGNS OF THE TIMES
THEY’RE APPEARING EVERYWHERE
I CAN ALMOST HEAR THE FATHER
AS HE SAYS
“SON GO GET YOUR CHILDREN.”
AT THE MIDNIGHT CRY
THE BRIDE OF CHRIST WILL RISE.
TAG :
AND THEN THOSE THAT REMAIN
WILL BE QUICKLY CHANGED
AT THE MIDNIGHT CRY
WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN
AT THE MIDNIGHT CRY
WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN
WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN.

Song by Gaither Vocal Band
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From the chains that
Held me fast
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From my prison
Free at last
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From the chains that
Held me fast
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From my prison
Free at last
Full of fears, I was tormented by my failures
I was paralyzed by choices I have made
In the night before my eyes
The taunting ghost would rise
The memories of the things I could not change
Then Jesus said my past could be forgiven
Painful shackles could all be torn away
To the chains that held me tight
God’s power will be the light
And I can know the freedom of a child
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From the chains that
Held me fast
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From my prison
Free at last
Into glorious liberation
From the chains that held me fast
Out of bondage into freedom
From my prison
Free at last
Free at last
Out of bondage
Into freedom
From the chains that (from the chains, from the chains that)
Held me fast
Out of bondage (out of bondage)
Into freedom
From my prison (from my prison)
Free at last
Out of bondage (out of bondage)
Into freedom (into freedom)
From the chains that (from the chains that)
Held me fast (held me fast)
Out of bondage (out of bondage)
Into freedom (freedom)
From my prison (from my prison)
Free at last (I am free)
Free at last (free at last)
Free at last (oh, I’m free)
Free at last (ooh)
Free at last

Bill Gaither
The tramp on the street, homeless and weak
could be I but for the grace of God
The steel of my soul would have weakened and bent
Had I traveled the highways he’s trod
Oh merciful Father Oh wonderful God
Thy hands have spared me these things
May my heart know compassion
As a child when she holds a bird with a broken wing
Oh Lord make me strong, not to boast of my strength
But to lend it to the weak and downtrod
May I always remember things dear to my heart
Are mine to hold only by the grace of God
