David Phelps and the Gaither Vocal Band showcased their brilliance with this song “We’ll Take It Over.” The blending of their voices is superb and really soothing to the ear. Watch and listen to the song to appreciate it. Be blessed!
“The Gaither Vocal Band is an American southern gospel vocal group, named after its founder and leader Bill Gaither. Founded in the early ’80s, Gaither Vocal Band is one of America’s leading faith-based vocal groups. While Gaither remained the only original member of the ensemble, many well-regarded CCM/gospel singers have passed through the band’s ranks, including Russ Taff, Guy Penrod, Wes Hampton, Michael English, Mark Lowry, and David Phelps. On March 1, 2017, it was announced that the Gaither Vocal Band lineup consisted of Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles, and Bill Gaither. Although the group started out recording contemporary Christian music in the 1980s, it became known for southern gospel after the popularity of the Gaither Homecoming videos.” (Source: Wikipedia)

We’ll Talk It Over Lyrics
Tho’ shadows deepen, and my heart bleeds,
I will not question the way He leads;
This side of Heaven we know in part,
I will not question a broken heart.
We’ll talk it over in the bye and bye.
We’ll talk it over, my Lord and I.
I’ll ask the reasons – He’ll tell me why,
When we talk it over in the bye and bye.
I’ll hide my heartache behind a smile
And wait for reasons ’til after while.
And tho’ He try me, I know I’ll find
That all my burdens are silver lined.
We’ll talk it over in the bye and bye.
We’ll talk it over, my Lord and I.
I’ll ask the reasons – He’ll tell me why,
When we talk it over in the bye and bye.
I’ll ask the reasons – He’ll tell me why,
When we talk it over
In the bye
And bye.

David’s God-led singing helps me feel peaceful.

I remember lots of songs by the Gaither Trio (Bill, Danny and Mary Ann) while at Anderson College and Theological Seminary (ACTS). As I have said many times, Anderson is the only place besides home that I have ever been homesick for. Was there for 2 years (1956-58). Still wish I could visit it some, but at 85 I cannot drive and no one to take me there. Great love to Anderson and thanks for the gifts they sent me recently.
