“Sweet Beulah Land”- Lovely Song By Squire Parsons, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound

This lovely Southern gospel song “Sweet Beulah Land” was written and composed by Squire Parsons in 1973. Parsons recorded it in 1979. It became the number one Southern Gospel single in 1981. It has been recorded by several other artists, including Carroll Roberson, The Chuck Wagon Gang, and the Gaither Homecoming Choir. The word Beulah is a metaphor for Jerusalem and heaven (for the latter, see Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress” to refer to Heaven.) Be blessed!

Sweet Beulah Land Lyrics

Song by Squire Parsons

I’m kind of homesick for a country
To which I’ve never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken
For time won’t matter anymore.

Beulah Land (Beulah Land) I’m longing for you (I’m longing for you)
And some day (And some day) on thee I’ll stand (Someday we will stand)
There my home (There my home) shall be eternal (Eternal)
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land

I’m looking now, just across the river
To where my faith, shall end in sight (Shall end in sight)
There’s just a few more days to labor.
Then I will take my heavenly flight.

Beulah Land (Beulah Land) I’m longing for you (I’m longing for you)
And some day (And some day) on thee I’ll stand (Someday we will stand)
There my home (There my home) shall be eternal
Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land
Beulah Land, oh it’s Beulah Land
Oh Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land

Blow The Trumpet In Zion Lyrics

Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase

They rush on the city, they run on the wall
Great is the Army that carries out His Word.
They rush on the city, they run on the wall
Great is the Army that carries out His Word.
The Lord utters His voice, before His army,
The Lord utters His voice, before His army.
They rush on the city, they run on the wall,
Great is the Army that carries out His Word,
They rush on the city, they run on the wall,
Great is the Army that carries out His Word.
The Lord utters His voice, before His army,
The Lord utters His voice, before His army.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm in My Holy Mountain.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm…
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm in My Holy Mountain,
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm…
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm in My Holy Mountain.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion;
Sound the alarm… Sound the alarm.
Sound the alarm.

I Then Shall Live Lyrics

Song by Gaither Vocal Band

I then shall live as one who’s been forgiven.
I’ll walk with joy to know my debts are paid.
I know my name is clear before my Father;
I am His child and I am not afraid.
So, greatly pardoned, I’ll forgive my brother;
The law of love I gladly will obey.

I then shall live as one who’s learned compassion.
I’ve been so loved, that I’ll risk loving too.
I know how fear builds walls instead of bridges;
I’ll dare to see another’s point of view.
And when relationships demand commitment,
Then I’ll be there to care and follow through.

Your Kingdom come around and through and in me;
Your power and glory, let them shine through me.
Your Hallowed Name, O may I bear with honor,
And may Your living Kingdom come in me.
The Bread of Life, O may I share with honor,
And may You feed a hungry world through me.

Amen, Amen, Amen

What a Savior Lyrics

Song by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound

Once I was straying
In sin’s dark valley
No hope within could I see
But they searched through Heaven
And found a Savior
To save a poor lost soul like me

O what a Savior
O Hallelujah
His heart was broken
On Calvary
His hands were nail scared
His side was riven

He gave His life’s blood for even me

Death’s chilly waters
I’ll soon be crossing
But His hand will lead me safely o’er
Then I’ll join that In that great city
I’ll sing up there forever and ever more

Longing For Home Lyrics

When I was young, I was a dreamer
I thought this world was mine to own
And every day was an adventure
All mine to claim
I’d make a name
That all would know

Verse Two:
Then as I grew I longed for comfort
To taste the things this world affords
But at their best, those things were fleeting
A gnawing grew
Inside I knew
There must be more

Verse Three:
And now I find myself here thinking
How sweet this life has been to hold
But through it all the pain, the blessings
There’s been a pull
To leave this world
For streets of gold

Chorus:
Now I’m longing for home
Yes, I’m longing to be where I belong
I love the life I’ve lived
But I know soon it will be gone

That’s why I’m longing for home

We Are The Church lyrics

We are the Church, let’s reassert our claim
To the power that is ours
When we rise in Jesus’ name
To carry love and mercy and salvation’s plan
We are the Church, and it’s time for us to stand

We are the Church, let’s reassert our claim
To the power that is ours
When we rise in Jesus’ name
To carry love and mercy and salvation’s plan
We are the Church, and it’s time for us to stand

Let’s leave behind our differences, let His Word be our light
Wherever souls are hurting, let’s bring the hope of Christ
Let’s go forward with the Gospel to the darkness of the night
we fix our eyes on Jesus, not to the left or right

We are the Church, let’s reassert our claim
To the power that is ours
When we rise in Jesus’ name
To carry love and mercy and salvation’s plan
We are the Church, and it’s time for us to stand
To stand

We’re not house of programs but a house of praise and prayer
We’re called to be courageous with the message that we share
And if someone has a burden, that’s a burden we can bear
But hands and feet of Jesus anytime and anywhere
Anywhere

We are the Church, let’s reassert our claim
To the power that is ours
When we rise in Jesus’ name
To carry love and mercy and salvation’s plan
We are the Church, and it’s time for us to stand

We are the Church, let’s reassert our claim
To the power that is ours
When we rise in Jesus’ name
To carry love and mercy and salvation’s plan
We are the Church, and it’s time for us to stand

Stand by Me Lyrics

Song by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we’ll see
No I won’t be afraid, no I won’t be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

And darlin’, darlin’, stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me

If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
And the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won’t cry, I won’t cry, no I won’t shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

And darlin’, darlin’, stand by me, oh stand by me
Stand by me, stand by me, stand by me-e, yeah

Whenever you’re in trouble won’t you stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Darlin’, darlin’, stand by me-e, stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me, stand by me

Sweet, Sweet Spirit Lyrics

Song by David Huff, Doris Akers, and The Statesmen Quartet

There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place,
cnd I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord;
There are sweet expressions on each face,
cnd I know they feel the presence of the Lord.

Sweet Holy Spirit, Sweet heavenly Dove,
Stay right here with us, filling us with Your love.
cnd for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise;
Without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived,
When we shall leave this place.
