Like Father, Like Son Lyrics

Jeff Easter and James Easter

Like father like son
Two roads become one
The old and the young
The father and the son

[Verse 2: Both, James Easter & Jeff Easter]
You taught me to laugh
At the story you told

Wanted you to be warm
In a world that was cold

You taught me to listen
To God up above

I taught you to pray
You taught me to pray
From a heart filled with love

[Chorus: James Easter & Jeff Easter]
Like father like son
Two roads become one
The old and the young
The father and the son

Come See Me Lyrics

I can’t tell what’s deep inside earth’s buried treasures
I’ve only read about their jewels rich and rare
I’ve not explored the depths of any ocean
But if you want to meet the Savior I’ve been there

When you’re ready to meet Jesus, Come see me, Come see me
When you’re sick of sin and longing, to be free, to be free
When you need a love that’s so much deeper than your deepest sin
When you’re ready to come home again no matter where you’ve been
When you’re ready to meet Jesus, Come see me, Come see me

I’ve not walked or talked with earth’s most famous statesmen
And chances that I’ll ever meet them all are dim
Oh but if you would like to know the King of Glory
I can take you to meet Jesus for I know Him

The Longer I Serve Him Lyrics

Song by Bill Gaither Trio and Gaither Vocal Band

Since I started of his kingdom
Since my life he controls
Since I gave my life to Jesus
The longer I serve him the sweeter He grows
The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows
The more that I love Him
More love He bestows
Each day like heaven, my heart overflows
The longer I serve Him the sweeter He grows
Every need He’s supplying
Plenty grace He bestows
Every day my way gets brighter
The longer I serve Him the sweeter He grows

Jesus Is Living In Me Lyrics

James Easter and Jeff Easter
[Verse 1: James]
Lonely years I had lived in
My life had no meaning
Till I heard about cavalry

[Verse 2: Jeff]
Then I kneel down in prayer
The Lord met me there
Now Jesus he’s living in me

[Chorus: Both]
He is in my feet when I’m walking
In my tongue when I’m talking
In my eyes and now I can see

He’s in the songs that I’m singing
In my heart His joy is ringing
Jesus is living in me

[Verse 3: Jeff]
Through the valleys he is brought me
To the top of the mountain
And over life’s trouble, trouble sea

[Verse 4: James]
Now I sing for his glory
Song that tell the great story
Cause Jеsus is living in me

[Chorus: Both]
He is in my feet when I’m walking
In my tonguе when I’m talking
In my eyes and now I can see

He’s in the songs that I’m singing
In my heart His joy is ringing
Jesus is living in me

He is in my feet when I’m walking
In my tongue when I’m talking
In my eyes and now I can see

He’s in the songs that I’m singing
In my heart His joy is ringing
Jesus is living in me

Yes, my Jesus is living in me

Then Came The Morning Lyrics

They all walked away, nothing to say
They’d just lost their dearest friend
All that He said, now He was dead
So this was the way it would end

The dreams they had dreamed were not what they’d seemed
Now that He was dead and gone
The garden, the jail, the hammer, the nail
How could a night be so long?

Then came the morning
Night turned into day
The stone was rolled away
Hope rose with the dawn

Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come

The angel, the star, the kings from afar
The wedding, the water, the wine
Now it was done, they’d taken her Son
Wasted before His time

She knew it was true, she’d watched Him die too
She’d heard them call Him just a man
But deep in her heart she knew from the start
Somehow her Son would live again

Then came the morning
Night turned into day
The stone was rolled away
Hope rose with the dawn

Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come

Then came the morning
Shadows vanished before the sun
Death had lost and life had won
For morning had come
For morning had come

Goodness of God Lyrics

I love You, Lord
Oh, Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
And in darkest night You are close like no other
I’ve known You as a Father
I’ve known You as a Friend
And I have lived in the goodness of God, yeah

And all my life You have been faithful, oh
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God, yeah

‘Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now
I give You everything
‘Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me, oh-oh
‘Cause Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me
With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now
I give You everything
‘Cause Your goodness is running after, it keeps running after me

And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God
I’m gonna sing, I’m gonna sing
Oh, ’cause
‘Cause all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God
Oh, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God

We love You for that
One for all my days

Where No One Stands Alone Lyrics

Once I stood in the night
With my head bowed low
In the darkness as black as could be
And my heart felt alone and I cried, “Oh Lord
Don’t hide your face from me”

Like a king, I may live in a palace so tall
With great riches to call my own
But I don’t know a thing
In this whole wide world
That’s worse than being alone

Hold my hand all the way, every hour, every day
Come here to the great unknown
Take my hand, let me stand
Where no-one stands alone

Take my hand, let me stand
Where no-one stands alone

Fully Alive Lyrics

Song by Gaither Vocal Band

Fully alive
Lord, make me fully alive

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Don’t let me miss all the glory around me
Waiting for Heaven someday to come
Open my eyes to miraculous Monday
And make my feet march to eternity’s drum

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive (fully alive)
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive (alive)
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Fully alive (make me fully alive, fully alive)
Lord, make me fully alive

Don’t let me wait for some far off forever
To say what I feel to the ones I hold dear
Risking the pain, and the joy of loving
Keep me awake and alive while I’m here (while I’m here, yeah)

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive (fully alive)
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Fully alive in Your Spirit
Make me fully alive (fully alive)
Fully aware of Your presence, Lord
Totally fully alive

Fully alive (make me fully alive, fully alive)
Lord, make me fully, fully alive

Make me fully alive, fully alive
Make me fully alive, fully alive
Make me fully alive, fully alive
Make me fully alive, fully alive

Just a Little Talk With Jesus Lyrics

Song by The Oak Ridge Boys

I once was lost in sin but Jesus took me in
And then a little light from heaven fill my soul
He bathed my heart in love and He wrote my name above
And just a little talk with Jesus makes me whole

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by

And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin’
And you will know a little fire is burnin’
Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

I may have doubts and fears
My eyes be filled with tears
But Jesus is a friend who watches day and night
I go to him in prayer
He knows my every care
And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by

And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin’
And you will know a little fire is burnin’
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by

And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin’
And you will know a little fire is burnin’
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right
Right, right, right
