Count Your Blessings Lyrics

Guy Penrod

When upon life’s billows
You are tempest tossed
When you are discouraged
Thinking all is lost

Count your many blessings
Name them one by one
And it will surprise you
What the lord has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your blessings
See what God has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your many blessings
See what God has done

Are you ever burdened
With a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy
You are called to bear?

Count your many blessings
Every doubt will fly
And you will keep singing
As the days go by

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your blessings
See what God has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your many blessings
See what God has done

So, amid the conflict
Whether great or small
Do not be disheartened
God is over all

Count your many blessings
Angels will attend
Help and comfort give you
To your journey’s end

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your blessings
See what God has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your many blessings
See what God has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your blessings
See what God has done

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
Count your many blessings
See what God has done

Guy Penrod – Knowing You’ll Be There

Knowing You’ll Be There Lyrics

The other day I passed the place
You always liked to go
And I picked up the phone because
I thought you wanna know
But I forgot you weren’t there
I miss you all these days
That I am reminded of your smile
And the funny things you’d say

I see you most at christmas
You were like a little kid
You always loved a good surprise
And now I must admit
That I long more for heaven
Than ever did before
You give me one more reason
And each day I want it more

Knowing we can spend a life time
Reminiscing on the past
Knowing I will see your face again
Where tender moments last
It makes me wanna go there
Knowing I won’t be alone
Knowing you’ll be there
Makes it easy to go home

You left a group of fisherman
Somehow, you left me too
Though I have felt you many times
I know you saw me through
I always long to feel your arms
And look into your eyes
And talk forever me and you
Somewhere in paradise

Knowing we can spend a life time
Reminiscing on the past
Knowing I will see your face again
Where tender moments last
It makes me wanna go there
Knowing I won’t be alone
Knowing you’ll be there
Makes it easy to go home

Just knowing you’ll be there
Makes it easy to go home

Sitting At The Feet Of Jesus

Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase

Sitting at the feet of Jesus
Oh, what words I hear Him say!
Happy place, so near, so precious!
May it find me there each day
Sitting at the feet of Jesus
I would look upon the past
For His love has been so gracious
It has won my heart at last

Sitting at the feet of Jesus
Where can mortals be more bless
There I lay my sins and sorrows
And when weary find sweet rest
Sitting at the feet of Jesus
There I love to weep and pray
While I from His fullness gather
Grace and comfort every day

Bless me, O my Savior, bless me
As I sit low at Thy feet
Oh, look down in love upon me
Let me see Thy face so sweet
Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus
Make me holy as He is
May I prove I’ve been with Jesus
Who is all my righteousness
He is all my righteousness
He is all my righteousness

The Holy Hills of Heaven Call Me – Gaither Vocal Band

The Holy Hills of Heaven Call Me Lyrics

Vestal Goodman, Bill & Gloria Gaither

The holy hills of Heaven call me
To mansions bright across the sea
Where loved ones wait and crowns are given
The hills of home keep calling me

I see loved ones over yonder
Tears are gone and hearts are free
And from the throne king Jesus beckons
Oh the hills of home are calling me

This house of flesh is but a prison
Bars of bone are holding my soul
But the doors of clay are gonna burst wide open
When the angel sets my spirit free

I’ll take my flight like a mighty eagle
When the hills of home start calling me
I’ll take my flight like a mighty eagle
When the hills of home start calling me

Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound – Swing Down Chariot

Gaither Vocal Band feat. Ernie Haase & Signature Sound – Swing Down Chariot – Together Album Version Lyrics

Artist: Gaither Vocal Band feat. Ernie Haase & Signature Sound

Album: Together

Why don’t you swing down (sweet) chariot
Stop and let me ride
Swing down chariot
Stop and let me ride
Rock me Lord, rock me Lord
Calm and easy
I’ve got a home on the other side

Why don’t you swing down (sweet) chariot
Stop and let me ride
Swing down chariot
Stop and let me ride
Rock me Lord, rock me Lord
Calm and easy
I’ve got a home on the other side

Swing, swing, swing, swing, swing, swing
Well, well, well
Ezekiel went down in the middle of a field
He saw and angel workin’ on a chariot wheel
He wasn’t so particular ’bout the chariot wheel
He just wanted to see how a chariot feel

Why don’t you swing down (sweet) chariot
Stop and let me ride
Swing down chariot
Stop and let me ride
Rock me Lord, rock me Lord
Calm and easy
I’ve got a home on the other side

Swing, swing, swing, swing, swing, swing
Well, well, well
Ezekiel wend down and he got on board
Chariot went a bumpin’ up and down the road
Zeke wasn’t so particular ’bout the bumpin’ of that road
He just wanted to lay down his heavy load

Why don’t you swing down (sweet) chariot
Stop and let me ride
Swing down chariot
Stop and let me ride
Rock me Lord, rock me Lord
Calm and easy
I’ve got a home on the other side

Why don’t you swing down (sweet) chariot
Stop and let me ride
Swing down chariot
Stop and let me ride
Rock me Lord, rock me Lord
Calm and easy
I’ve got a home on the other side

Guy Penrod and Babbie Mason – Tennessee Christmas (Gaither Music TV)

“Tennessee Christmas Lyrics”

Guy Penrod and Babbie Mason

Come on weatherman
Give us a forecast snowy white
Can’t you hear the prayers
Of every childlike heart tonight
Rockies are callin’, Denver snow fallin’
Somebody said it’s four feet deep
But it doesn’t matter
Give me the laughter
I’m gonna choose to keep

Another tender Tennessee Christmas
The only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us
Like the gifts around our tree
Well I know there’s more snow up in Colorado
Than my roof will ever see
But a tender Tennessee Christmas
Is the only Christmas for me

Every now and then
I get a wanderin’ urge to see
Maybe California, maybe tinsel town’s for me
There’s a parade there
We’d have it made there
Bring home a tan for New Year’s Eve
Sure sounds exciting, awfully inviting
Still I think I’m gonna keep

Another tender Tennessee Christmas
The only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us
Like the gifts around our tree
Well they say in L.A.
It’s a warm holiday
It’s the only place to be
But a tender Tennessee Christmas
Is the only Christmas for me.

Well I know there’s more snow up in Colorado
Than my roof will ever see
But a tender Tennessee Christmas
Is the only Christmas for me

A tender Tennessee Christmas
Is the only Christmas for me

At The Cross Lyrics

Gaither Vocal Band

Alas, and did my Savior bleed and did my sovereign die
Would He devote that sacred head for such a worm as I

At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the Light
And the burden of my heart rolled away, rolled away
It was there by Faith, I received my sight
And now I am happy all the day

Was it for crimes that I have done, He crawled up on the tree
Amazing pity, grace unknown and love beyond degree

At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the Light
And the burden of my heart rolled away, rolled away
It was there by Faith, I received my sight
And now, and now, and now I am happy all the day
All the day.
